I�m bored. What better is there to do than to do an entry when you�re bored? Not much�
Had a great weekend. Spent Friday night with Ray and Matt (not what it sounds like). Matt fell asleep and Ray and I watched the infamous �Dancing Outlaw� video featuring Jesco White from Boone County WV. I have seen the documentary a few times, but I still proceeded to laugh so hard that I was crying and couldn�t breathe. If I could find a man that appreciates that film as much as I do, I would be a happy woman.
Went to see a band called Shiloh on Saturday night. They have two lead vocalists, a male and a female, and the chick was not good. She performed good cover material, but her talent was mediocre at best. An old acquaintance Clark was filling in for them as guitarist so that�s the only reason I went to the show. I ended up spending the majority of the time there by myself and managed to get a little tipsy. At least I got to do a shot with Clark so I can die happy now, lol. It�s so funny, I used to go see a band called Naked Truth years ago and he was their guitarist. I bet I saw them perform easily over a hundred times yet I probably never said more than 10 words to him. Now, I have seen him a few times this year in his new (to me) band Forehead and we�ve talked more than we ever did. It�s so nice to relive my pre-legal days in his presence. He�s like this lost connection to a certain extent. I sound so queer.
Anyway, I guess I�ll plug this here since I�m plugging this everywhere else I can think of, but NAKED TRUTH IS HAVING A REUNION SHOW SATURDAY AUGUST 14, 2004 AT THE BLUE NOTE IN CINCINNATI OH. I don�t know even know if anyone other than my friends reads this, but if so, and you�re near Cincy, you should really check out this show. It�s a shame Naked Truth never made it to the big time, they were/are great, talented musicians.
Aside from that not much is going on. I�m headed to the Rolling Rock Town Fair this weekend which I�m pretty excited about. Will be hella cool to see Sevendust again, it�s been ages since I have seen them.
Well, I�d better get back to work.
